An American Eagle Embraer ERJ-145, registration N635AE performing flight MQ-3158 from Fargo,ND to Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA) with 52 people on board, was enroute at FL330 about 160nm northwest of Madison,WI (USA) when the crew reported a hydraulic failure and decided to divert to Madison requesting a tow off the runway and inquiring about braking action at Madison. The aircraft landed safely on Madison's runway 36 about 35 minutes later and stopped on the runway causing a business jet on approach to runway 36 change to runway 32. A few minutes after landing the Embraer crew reported they got a backup system up and could slowly taxi to the ramp, the business jet on approach instantly switched back to runway 36.
