The airline reported on Facebook that the captain, an experienced flight instructor, detected problems with the right hand engine during climb out of Astana and decided to return to Astana in accordance with safety procedures. The passengers departed on a replacement aircraft at 01:00L the following morning (with a delay of about 6 hours).
