An Augsburg Airways Embraer ERJ-190 on behalf of Swiss, registration D-AEMG performing flight IQ-1197/LX-1197 from Nuremberg (Germany) to Zurich (Switzerland) with 62 passengers, was climbing out of Nuremberg when the crew stopped the climb at FL210 reporting the right hand engine (CF34) needed to be shut down due to a suspected oil leak. The aircraft returned to Nuremberg for a safe landing on runway 28 about 45 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.

A passenger reported the crew announced an engine had been shut down due to an oil leak and they were returning to Nuremberg.
