A Grozny Avia Yakovlev Yak-42, registration RA-42353 performing flight GOZ-9723 from Grozny (Russia) to Antalya (Turkey) with 120 passengers (thereof 65 children) and 6 crew, was climbing through FL260 out of Grozny when the crew received a magnetic chip detector indication for the tail mounted engine together with abnormal engine oil indications. Due to decreasing oil pressure the crew shut the engine down and returned to Grozny for a safe landing.
