An Air Canada Airbus A319-100, registration C-FYJE performing flight AC-778 from San Diego,CA (USA) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 110 people on board, was departing San Diego when the crew received a TCAS Resolution Advisory (RA) to climb and complied with the advisory. A flight attendant received minor injuries in that maneouver. The flight was continued to Toronto for a safe landing about 4 hours later.

The Canadian TSB reported that the TCAS RA to climb was caused by traffic at the same altitude. A flight attendant received minor injuries in that climb maneouver but was able to continue her duties.
