A Corendon Dutch Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration PH-CDE performing flight CND-111 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Tetuan (Morocco), aborted the approach to Tetuan due to weather and diverted to Fez (Morocco) about 100nm south of Tetuan. The aircraft was descending towards Fez around 17:15L (16:15Z), when the crew needed to abort the approach and divert the aircraft to Nador (Morocco), about 125nm northeast of Fez, and landed the aircraft safely.

The Dutch Onderzoeksraad reported on Jul 15th 2013 the aircraft landed in Nador with less than the required final fuel reserve. Maroc's Authorities opened an investigation into the occurrence rated a serious incident.

The aircraft departed Nador about 4 hours after aborting the approach to Tetuan and reached Tetuan with a delay of about 4.5 hours.
