An Aer Lingus Airbus A320-200, registration EI-CVB performing flight EI-380 from Shannon (Ireland) to London Heathrow,EN (UK), was descending towards London when the crew reported a hydraulic failure and advised they needed to stop on the runway. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Heathrow's runway 27L with open gear doors and stopped on the runway. The aircraft was towed to the apron about 20 minutes later.

The return flight EI-381 was cancelled.

The incident aircraft was able to position to Dublin (Ireland) on Jul 1st and resumed service on Jul 2nd.
