A SAS Scandinavian Airlines Boeing 737-600, registration LN-RRY performing flight SK-4714 from Rome Fiumicino (Italy) to Oslo (Norway), was climbing out of Rome's runway 25 when the crew stopped the climb at FL140 and returned to Rome for a safe landing on runway 34R about 35 minutes after departure.

The flight was subsequently cancelled.

No explanation was given as to why they returned to Fiumicino. After the flight was cancelled, ground staff indicated "technical problems" as reason for the flight cancellation.
