A NOK Air Boeing 737-800, registration HS-DBE performing flight DD-8714 from Bangkok Don Muang to Chiang Rai (Thailand) with 162 people on board, lost the right hand nose wheel at some stage during the flight. During roll out at Chiang Rai the aircraft encountered strong vibrations but came to a safe stop on the runway on the remaining left hand nosewheel.

The airline said there was no danger for the occupants of the aircraft, a loose bolt failed however.

Thailand's media report the left hand nose wheel detached, photographic evidence however shows the aircraft at the gate sitting on its left nose wheel with the right wheel missing (seen in direction of flight as all aircraft directions are always and always referenced).
