Aeroflot A320 at Prague on May 13th 2013, burst tyres on landing

An Aeroflot Airbus A320-200, registration VP-BZO performing flight SU-2014 from Moscow Sheremetyevo (Russia) to Prague (Czech Republic), landed on Prague's runway 24 but burst both left hand main tyres. The aircraft came to a safe stop within the runway protected area while attempting to turn off onto taxiway D and was disabled.

The aircraft was towed off the runway, the runway was closed for about an hour.

On Jul 23rd 2013 Czech's UZPLN reported in their quarterly bulletin that a runway inspection revealed debris of the tyres as well as a damaged light.
