A Transavia Boeing 737-800, registration PH-GUB performing flight HV-2571 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Tangier (Morocco) and further on to Al Hoceima (Morocco), had departed Amsterdam's runway 24 at 20:12L (18:12Z) when the crew reported they probably had a tailstrike and needed to return to Schiphol Airport. The aircraft levelled off at FL060 and landed safely on Amsterdam's runway 18R about 15 minutes after departure.

The incident aircraft was able to depart again after about 3:50 hours on the ground and reached Tangier with a delay of 4 hours.
