An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZBY performing flight U2-7728 from Bilbao,SP to Madrid,SP (Spain), was landing on Madrid's runway 18R when a bird impacted the nose of the aircraft. The crew continued for a safe landing on runway 18R.

A passenger booked onto the aircraft's next scheduled flight U2-3906 to Paris Charles de Gaulle reported, that the captain announced the flight had to be delayed for the arrival of another aircraft due to a bird strike on landing that damaged the weather radar.

A replacement Airbus A319-100 registration G-EZIR was flown from London Gatwick,EN (UK) to Madrid and reached Paris with a delay of 4:15 hours.
