A Gojet Canadair CRJ-700 on behalf of Delta Airlines, flight G7-6285/DL-6285 from New York La Guardia,NY to Charlotte,NC (USA), was climbing out of La Guardia's runway 31 when the crew reported an asymmetric elevator position. The aircraft stopped the climb at 9500 feet and returned to La Guardia for a safe landing on runway 22 at a higher than normal speed about 25 minutes after departure.

A replacement Canadair CRJ-700 reached Charlotte with a delay of 4:50 hours.
