An Atlantic Southeast Airlines Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N838AS performing flight EV-5482/DL-5482 from Atlanta,GA to Charleston,WV (USA), landed on Charleston's runway 23 at 16:13L (20:13Z), a wing tip contacted the runway surface. The aircraft rolled out without further incident. Tower queried the flight just prior to issuing taxi clearance to vacate the runway whether they had encountered any windshear on short final, the crew responded the wing had just dropped. The aircraft vacated the runway and taxied to the gate.

The FAA reported the aircraft received unknown damage when the wingtip contacted the runway surface upon landing in Charleston.
