A KLM Boeing 777-200, registration PH-BQF performing flight KL-569 (dep May 6th) from Dar-es-Salaam (Tanzania) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was on approach to Amsterdam when the crew indicated they had a hydraulic leak. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 36R. After landing the crew vacated the runway and stopped clear of the runway for an inspection by emergency services advising the services they had a low quantity indication for their right hand hydraulic system, a possible hydraulic leak. Emergency services reported seeing fluid under the right hand engine (GE90), the crew advised they were shutting the engine down. Emergency services subsequently confirmed an active leak.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Amsterdam about 62 hours (2 days 14 hours) after landing.
