A Wizz Air Malta Airbus A321-200N, registration 9H-WMI performing flight W6-1476 from Barcelona,SP (Spain) to Warsaw (Poland) with 239 people on board, had just levelled off at cruise FL340 when the crew decided to return to Barcelona reporting smoke in the cabin. The aircraft landed safely back on Barcelona's runway 24R about 45 minutes after departure.

A replacement A321-200N registration 9H-WNN reached Warsaw with a delay of about 8 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Barcelona about 11 hours after landing.
