A J-Air Embraer ERJ-190 on behalf of JAL Japan Airlines, registration JA250J performing flight JL-2151 from Osaka Itami to Aomori (Japan), was descending towards Aomori when the aircraft encountered turbulence. The aircraft continued for a safe landing.

Japan's TSB reported one passenger was seriously injured in the occurrence, rated the occurrence an accident and opened an investigation.
