A SAS Scandinavian Airlinees Airbus A330-300, registration LN-RKM performing flight SK-904 from Newark,NJ (USA) to Stockholm (Sweden), was climbing out of Newark's runway 04L when the crew stopped the climb at 6000 feet due to an electrical failure. The aircraft returned to Newark for a safe landing on runway 04L about 50 minutes after departure.

A passenger reported they lost electric power in about half of the aircraft.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Newark about 19 hours after landing back.
