An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-9 MAX, registration N967AK performing flight AS-474 from Atlanta,GA to San Diego,CA (USA) with 165 passengers and 6 crew, departed Atlanta's runway 26L, climbed to FL340 and continued to San Diego, where the aircraft landed on runway 27 about 4.5 hours later.

The FAA reported: "SAN DIEGO, CA (SAN): ASA474, N967AK, B39M, ATL-SAN, BLOWN TIRE ON DEPARTURE @ ATL RWY 26L TIRE DEBRIS EAST OF TWY D; ACFT CNTD FLIGHT TO SAN; LNDD W/O INC; ACFT TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE BY ASA MAINTENANCE; DMG TO LEFT ENGINE ADJACENT TO BLOWN TIRE (RIGHT TIRE OF LEFT MAIN) POB: 171, INJURIES: NONE, DAMAGE: EXTENT UNKNOWN."

The aircraft is still on the ground in San Diego about 13 hours after landing.
