The airline reported the crew rejected takeoff due to technical reasons and burst two tyres as result of the rejected takeoff. The aircraft remained on the runway for replacement of the tyres.

The ATSB reported after gathering information about the occurrence they are not going to open an investigation. The crew rejected takeoff due to an excessive exhaust gas temperature from the right hand engine (Genx) in line with standard operating procedures.
