A SAS Scandinavian Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration LN-RRU performing flight SK-7366 from Las Palmas,CI (Spain) to Bergen (Norway) with 108 passengers, was descending through 2500 feet on final approach to Bergen's runway 17, when the crew aborted the approach and went around due to flaps problems. The crew subsequently decided to divert to Stavanager, climbed the aircraft to FL130 and landed safely at a slightly higher than normal speed on Stavanger's runway 18 about 45 minutes after aborting the approach to Bergen.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled, the passengers were bussed to Bergen.
