An Aurigny Air Services Dornier 228, registration G-ETAC performing flight GR-201 from Alderney,CI to Guernsey,CI (UK) with 17 passengers, landed on Guernsey's runway 27 but was unable to vacate the runway due to a hydraulic failure resulting in the loss of nose wheel steering.

The airport reported the airport needed to close the runway for about 40 minutes because the aircraft had lost its hydraulics during the landing, meaning the crew could not steer the aircraft off the runway.

The aircraft was able to depart for the return flight with a delay of about 3 hours.
