A ACT Airlines Boeing 747-400 freighter on behalf of THY Turkish Airlines, registration TC-ACG performing flight TK-6391 from Hong Kong (China) to Turkistan (Kazakhstan), initiated a go around from very low height after the approach became unstable but struck the outboard right hand engine (CF6) onto the runway surface. The aircraft positioned for another approach and landed without further incident.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Turkistan on Apr 10th 2024.

According to information The Aviation Herald received the aircraft suffered structural damage, engine #4 needed to be replaced.
