A Swiss International Airlines Airbus A330-300, registration HB-JHA performing flight LX-17 from New York JFK,NY (USA) to Zurich (Switzerland), was on approach to Zurich when the crew reported the failure of the green hydraulic system and advised they needed to be towed off the runway. The crew performed an alternate gear extension and landed safely on Zurich's runway 14 with all gear doors open. The aircraft stopped on the runway, the engines were shut down and the aircraft was towed off the runway about 5 minutes after landing.
