A DHL Air Boeing 777-200 freighter, registration G-DHLX performing flight D0-384 from Leipzig (Germany) to Cincinnati,KY (USA), was enroute at FL320 about 60nm southeast of Bremen (Germany) when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100. The aircraft subsequently diverted to East Midlands,EN (UK) where the aircraft landed safely on runway 27 about 90 minutes after leaving FL320.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 13 hours, then continued the flight and reached Cincinnati with a delay of about 14 hours.
