An Azul Linhas Aereas Airbus A320-200N, registration PR-YRB performing flight AD-2784 from Sao Paulo Viracopos,SP to Curitiba,PR (Brazil), was climbing out of Viracopos' runway 33 when the aircraft flew through hail. The aircraft continued the climb to FL260 and landed in Curitiba about 45 minutes after departure. The aircraft received a "reshaped" radome as result of the hail strike.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Curitiba about 22 hours after landing.

The airline reported the aircraft encountered adverse weather conditions enroute and landed safely.
