A Kelowna McDonnell Douglas DC-10 freighter, registration C-GKFB performing flight KFA-310 from Calgary,AB to Hamilton,ON (Canada) with 3 crew, had just reached cruise level 390 when the crew received a #2 engine (CF6) thrust reverser pressure indication. The crew shut the engine down as a precaution and returned to Calgary for a safe landing about 40 minutes later.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced the thrust reverser control valve.
