A Flybondi Boeing 737-800, registration LV-KHO performing flight FO-5238 from Buenos Aires Aeroparque,BA to Bariloche,RN (Argentina), was climbing out of Aeroparque's runway 31 when the crew stopped the climb at 3000 feet reporting an engine (CFM56) failure and decided to divert to Buenos Aires' Ezeiza Airport, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 11 about 30 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration LV-KAH reached Bariloche with a delay of about 6:40 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground at Ezeiza Airport about 31 hours after landing there.

Argentina's JST opened an investigation into the occurrence.
