An Expressjet Embraer ERJ-145 on behalf of United, registration N12142 performing flight EV-4480/UA-4480 from Rochester,NY to Newark,NJ (USA) with 8 passengers and 5 crew, landed on Newark's runway 29 at 20:21L (01:21Z Jan 21st), when all 4 main gear tyres blew causing the aircraft veer off the runway to the right and come to a stop on taxiway Q/Z4 about 2400 feet/730 meters down the runway. The crew initially believed they could taxi off turning left onto taxiway Z but then reported their aircraft was disabled. Two aircraft on final approach to runway 29 were instructed to go-around, a third was offered circle to land on runway 22L and accepted. The passengers disembarked onto the taxiway and were bussed to the terminal.

The airline confirmed all four main gear tyres were blown shortly after landing, the crew brought the aircraft safely to a stop, there were no injuries.
