A Kalitta Boeing 747-400, registration N742CK performing flight K4-206 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to New York JFK,NY (USA), was enroute at FL320 over the North Sea about 90nm north of Norwich,EN (UK) when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100 due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft subsequently turned around and diverted to Leipzig (Germany) climbing to FL140 enroute, where the aircraft landed safely about 2.5 hours later.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Leipzig for about 20 hours, then continued to New York.
