An Easyjet Europe Airbus A320-200, registration OE-IJR performing flight U2-4943 from Toulouse (France) to Palma Mallorca,SP (Spain), was in the initial climb out of Toulouse's runway 32R when the aircraft stopped the climb at 5000 feet due to a bird strike into one of the engines (CFM56). The aircraft returned to Toulouse for a safe landing on runway 32L about 25 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Toulouse about 28 hours after landing back.
