An Air Canada Bombardier C-Series CS-300, registration C-GJYE performing flight AC-459 from Ottawa,ON to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 141 people on board, had just levelled off at cruise FL280 when the crew noticed an unusual odour on board. The crew decided to continue the flight to Toronto and declared PAN PAN. The aircraft landed on Toronto's runway 24L about 25 minutes later.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance performed engine runs with no findings. However, further checks revealed both engines had been overserviced with oil, which was rectified. Maintenance also replaced the #2 Air Cycle Machine.
