A Vistara Boeing 737-800, registration VT-TGB performing flight UK-951 from Delhi to Mumbai (India), was climbing out of Delhi's runway 29 when the crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet and entered a hold. The crew subsequently decided to return to Delhi for a safe landing on runway 29 about 30 minutes after departure.

The airline reported a "minor technical snag". A replacement aircraft performed the flight.

India's DGCA reported a whistling sound was heard from the right hand side engine (CFM56). The aircraft returned, no structural deficiency was discovered.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration VT-TGA reached Mumbai with a delay of about 3 hours.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 17 hours after landing back.
