A TUI Airways Boeing 737-800, registration G-TAWH performing flight BY-4353 from Paphos (Cyprus) to London Gatwick,EN (UK), was enroute at FL360 about 40nm northeast of Rhodos (Greece) when the crew decided to divert to Rhodos due to a failed engine (CFM56). The aircraft landed safely on Rhodos' runway 24 about 50 minutes later.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 41.5 hours, then positioned to Gatwick.
