An Air Canada Bombardier C-Series CS-300, registration C-GVUN performing flight AC-355 from Ottawa,ON to Calgary,AB (Canada) with 132 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL360 about 340nm northwest of Toronto,ON (Canada) when the crew received a left engine (PW1524G) oil pressure indication, reduced the engine to idle, declared PAN PAN and diverted to Toronto, where the aircraft landed safely.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance followed the maintenance manuals and replaced the left oil pressure sensor. A subsequent review of the trends revealed the low oil pressure indication had been a real oil pressure drop and not an indication fault. Engine Manufacturer and operator are conducting further investigation.
