An ATI Air Transport International Boeing 767-300 on behalf of Amazon Air, registration N431AZ performing flight 8C-1917 from Los Angeles,CA to Seattle,WA (USA) with 3 crew, was climbing through about 18000 feet out of Los Angeles when the crew requested to level off reporting they were down to a single power source only, they had lost the right hand generator and had no APU, and needed to declare an emergency, they needed to return to Los Angeles immediately and requested runways 06s or 07s. The aircraft returned to Los Angeles for a safe landing on runway 06R about 25 minutes after departure.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Los Angeles for about 24 hours before returning to service.
