A Mesa Airlines Boeing 737-400 freighter, registration N708DA performing flight YV-1585 from Cincinnati,KY to Minneapolis,MN (USA) with 2 crew, departed Cincinnati's Northern Kentucky Airport's runway 27. At some stage during the flight to Minneapolis tyre fragments were discovered on the departure runway and identified, the crew was informed. The aircraft landed on Minneapolis' runway 30L and became disabled on the runway. The aircraft needed to be towed off the runway.

The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT DEPARTED CVG AND TIRE FRAGMENTS WERE DISCOVERED, CONTINUED TO MSP AND AFTER LANDING REQUIRED A TOW AS LANDING GEAR WAS DAMAGED, MINNEPAOLIS, MN.", the damage was "UNKNOWN" and the occurrence was rated an incident.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Minneapolis about 22 hours after landing.
