A Cargojet Boeing 767-300 freighter, registration C-GAZI performing flight W8-2384 from Vancouver,BC to Hamilton,ON (Canada) with 2 crew, was climbing out of Vancouver's runway 26R when the crew received a "MN CARGO DOOR" indication and associated aural sound. The crew stopped the climb at about 4500 feet MSL, declared emergency and returned to Vancouver for a safe landing on runway 31 about 25 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported: "Maintenance personnel visually inspected the main cargo door and tested the function of the door system. The system checked serviceable with no faults found and the aircraft was returned to service."

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 80 minutes, then departed again and reached Hamilton with a delay of about 2 hours.
