A United Boeing 787-9, registration N36962 performing flight UA-818 from Buenos Aires Ezeiza,BA (Argentina) to Houston Intercontinental,TX (USA) with 147 passengers and 12 crew, was climbing through FL375 out of Buenos Aires when the aircraft suffered the loss of cabin pressure. The crew initiated an emergency descent and returned to Bueons Aires for a safe landing about one hour after departure.

Argentina's JST rated the occurrence an incident and opened an investigation.
