An Easyjet Airbus A321-200N, registration G-UZMF performing flight U2-393 from Bristol,EN to Inverness,SC (UK), departed Bristol's runway 27 and was climbing out when the aircraft received a bird strike prompting the crew to stop the climb at 4000 feet and return to Bristol for a safe landing on runway 27 about 20 minutes after departure.

A replacement A321-200N registration G-UZMD reached Inverness with a delay of about 5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground about 6 hours after landing back.
