Skywest CRJ2 at Saskatoon on Nov 1st 2012, ice skating but no runway excursion on landing

A Skywest Canadair CRJ-200, registration N920SW performing flight OO-5561 from Regina,SK to Saskatoon,SK (Canada) with 15 people on board, landed on Saskatoon's runway 09 but lost all braking action during roll out. The crew engaged reverse thrust, lost directional control and shut down both engines. The aircraft came eventually to a stop remaining within the runway surface at all times. The aircraft was towed off the runway 35 minutes after landing.

The Canadian TSB reported it was reported the runway was 100% covered with ice due to freezing drizzle. No runway friction measurement had been completed, ATC however had reported slippery runway conditions about one hour prior to landing. Sanding of the runway had not yet been started. ATC advised the incident crew of poor braking action about one hour prior to landing.
