A Skywest Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of United, registration N920SW performing flight UA-5669 from Indianapolis,IN to Washington Dulles,DC (USA) with 57 people on board, was climbing out of Indianapolis' runway 23L when the crew declared emergency reporting the left hand engine (CF34) had failed. The aircraft levelled off at 4000 feet, the crew reported the engine "came back" and they were operating on both engines again. The aircraft landed safely back on Indianapolis' runway 23R about 30 minutes after departure.
