An Azul Linhas Aereas Avion de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration PR-AQP performing flight AD-4296 from Sao Paulo Viracopos,SP to Bauru,SP (Brazil) with 46 passengers and 4 crew, was accelerating for takeoff from Viracopos' runway 15 when the crew rejected takeoff at about 70 knots over ground due to a problem with the left hand engine (PW127M). The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.

Brazil's CENIPA reported the crew received a "ENG #1 OIL HIGH PRESS" indication, performed the QRH procedures and rejected takeoff. The occurrence was rated an incident.
