A Srilankan Airlines Airbus A321-200N, registration 4R-AND performing flight UL-190 from Dhaka (Bangladesh) to Colombo (Sri Lanka), was enroute FL360 about 120nm northeast of Chennai (India) when the crew received multiple ECAM messages indication multiple system failures. The aircraft began to slightly deviate (climb) from the assigned flgiht level. The crew decided to divert to Chennai where the aircraft landed safely on runway 07 about 35 minutes later.

Sri Lanka's Civil Aviation Authority rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.

The aircraft was able to continue to Colombo as flight UL-190D the following day and arrived with a delay of 30 hours. The aircraft subsequently remained on the ground until Dec 10th 2020 before returning to service.
