A MAIS Linhas Aereas Fokker 100, registration PR-JFO performing a charter flight from Presidente Prudente,SP to Rio de Janeiro Galeao,RJ (Brazil) carrying the new Brazilian Soccer Champion team of Fluminese, aborted the approach to Rio de Janeiro's Galeao Antonio Carlos Jobim Airport due to an unsafe nose gear indication. A low approach showed the nose gear was down and the aircraft landed safely on their third approach.

Fluminese was returning from their away match against Palmeiras in which they had secured the win of the championship 2012 by winning the match 3:2.
