An Air Arabia Maroc Airbus A320-200, registration CN-NMJ performing flight 3O-882 from Kiev (Ukraine) to Casablanca (Maroc), had just levelled off at initial FL300 when the crew reported a problem with the right hand engine (CFM56) and decided to return to Kiev. The aircraft landed safely on runway 36R about 30 minutes after departure.

Ukraine's NBAAI reported the crew did declare emergency. The aircraft returned to Kiev's Borispol Airport due to a problem with engine #2.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 17 hours, then departed for flight 3O-882 a second time and reached Casablanca with a delay of about 17 hours.
