Bemidji SW4 at Minneapolis on Nov 9th 2012, left main gear collapsed on landing, runway excursion

A Bemidji Swearingen SA-227 Metro III on behalf of UPS, registration N619BA performing freight flight CH-57 from Duluth,MN to Minneapolis,MN (USA) with one crew, landed on Minneapolis' runway 12R at 20:05L (02:05Z Nov 10th) when upon touchdown the left main gear collapsed causing the aircraft to veer left off the runway. The aircraft came to a stop on soft ground near the intersection with runway 04/22, no injuries occurred, the aircraft sustained substantial damage.

Runways 12R/30L and 04/22 were closed for about 3 hours until the aircraft was removed.

The airline operates three Metroliners registrations N227LC, N611BA and N619BA according to the FAA registry.

The FAA reported on Nov 13th the aircraft N619BA suffered the collapse of the left main gear.
