The aircraft was unable to continue its schedule.
About 124 hours (5 days 4 hours) later the aircraft performed a test flight from Mexico City to Mexico City climbing to FL360, then on Mar 1st 2020 departed for flight 4O-30 from Mexico City (Mexico) to Tucson,AZ (USA) and further on as flight 4I-31 to Phoenix Goodyear,AZ (USA) about 135 hours after the tail strike. The aircraft still is in Phoenix as of Mar 21st 2020.
On Mar 20th 2020 Mexico's AIB reported the occurrence (tail strike) was rated a serious incident and is being investigated by Mexico's AIB.
