A British Airways Airbus A350-1000, registration G-XWBD performing flight BA-93 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Toronto,ON (Canada), was descending towards Toronto when the crew reported a hydraulic failure. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Toronto's runway 23 with emergency services attending to the aircraft. The brakes were hot and hydraulic fluid was found leaking. The aircraft was subsequently towed to the terminal.

Passengers however had to wait for their luggage until the following day, as the cargo doors could not be opened due the hydraulic fault. One passenger complained he couldn't get to his insulin stored in his luggage needed due to diabetes.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 42 hours, then positioned back to London.
