An Air France Boeing 777-300, registration F-GZNK performing flight AF-165 from Bangkok (Thailand) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France), was climbing out of Bangkok's runway 01R when the crew stopped the climb at FL080 due to being unable to retract the landing gear. The crew dumped fuel and returned to Bangkok for a safe landing on runway 01L about 90 minutes after departure.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Bangkok about 34 hours after landing back.
